As Mentioned In This Lesson Numerous Telecommunications Ready Tools A

As mentioned in this lesson, numerous telecommunications-ready tools are already available to assist nurses in delivering care and improving patients' health outcomes. New and innovative tools are rapidly making their way to the marketplace, making current tools dated and sometimes obsolete. Continue to reflect upon the point-of-care tools you may be familiar with using in your role as a Registered Nurse and how your responsibilities will change with your future role as an APN. How will you stay current? Provide a brief response (100 words or less).

Paper For Above instruction

As a Registered Nurse, I currently utilize various point-of-care tools such as electronic health records (EHRs), telehealth platforms, and clinical decision support systems to enhance patient care. These tools facilitate real-time data access, remote consultations, and evidence-based decision-making, improving patient outcomes and nursing efficiency. Transitioning to an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) role will expand these responsibilities, emphasizing autonomous decision-making and advanced telehealth applications. To stay current, I will engage in continuous professional development through webinars, online courses, and participation in professional organizations focused on healthcare technology. Regularly reviewing emerging literature and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams will ensure I remain adept with evolving tools to deliver optimal patient care.
