Visual elements are extremely important in web design because visual elements help you in attracting users and making them regular visitors to your website. Review and analyze the following websites to examine how design elements such as line, texture, and shape affect visual design and perception. When comparing websites, focus on the following: Navigation Design Visual appearance Aesthetics This will help distinguish a website that is well designed versus a website that needs improvement. Examine the website that you have selected for review that is not well designed and discuss the changes that can be made in order to make that website visually appealing and exemplary. For this analysis, I chose the Dean Koontz official website as an exemplary website due to its clean layout, consistent color scheme, intuitive navigation, and professional aesthetics. Conversely, the Hurtadoarts website, characterized by cluttered layout, inconsistent visual elements, poor navigation, and a lack of cohesive aesthetic, serves as a poorly designed example.

Differences in Design Elements

Navigation

The exemplary site features clear menus with logical structure, enabling users to find information effortlessly. The Hurtadoarts site, however, presents disorganized navigation, which can confuse users and hinder their experience.

Visual Appearance and Aesthetics

Recommended Improvements for the Poorly Designed Website

Incorporating high-quality images, aligning elements properly, and reducing clutter would significantly increase attractiveness and usability.
