The purpose of this assignment is to utilize what you have learned so far by writing a final paper that investigates scholarly journal articles related to human development. You are required to find four peer-reviewed, scholarly journal articles available through the South University Online Library. Articles from web pages, magazines, newspapers, textbooks, or other non-peer-reviewed sources are not permitted. The selected articles should be recent, published within the last 5 to 6 years. Focus your search on topics relevant to human development, aligned with the major areas covered in the course such as developmental theories across the lifespan, factors influencing development (geographic, gender, social, cognitive, emotional), historical and current trends, future implications, and social/diversity issues.

From these articles, choose at least two age groups: Childhood, Adolescence, Adulthood, or Older Adults. For each article, write a two-paragraph summary describing its main points and findings. Then, provide a 1-2 paragraph analysis and evaluation that integrates your course readings and highlights the significance and limitations of the research.

Following the individual articles, compose a 1-2 page synthesis summarizing what you have learned about the selected age groups from a lifespan perspective. Discuss the commonalities in research types and themes, as well as differences. Incorporate relevant developmental theories discussed in the course to explain how the lifespan perspective enhances understanding of the research findings.
