Assignment Contentthis Assignment Is The First Step For Completing You

This assignment is the first step for completing your personal case study. In Week 8 of this course, you will submit a 10-page case study that you will create yourself. This case study will be built around an organization with which you are familiar and will describe, analyze, and resolve an organizational issue related to this organizational behavior class. Topics may include organizational structure, motivation, leadership, conflict, policies – anything that could be made better through the application of your knowledge of organizational behavior. You will pick the issue, describe it and its impacts on the organization, research ways to improve or resolve the issue, and then recommend a solution.

You should have at least ten resources other than your textbook. This week's assignment is the first step in the writing of that paper. Select an organization and a topic and submit a one-page synopsis, stating what you are studying, what you intend to learn, and what you are going to do with that knowledge. List your organization, the topic, and your rationale for the selection. Your paper should be written in APA format with a title page.

Paper For Above instruction

The purpose of this initial assignment is to lay the groundwork for a comprehensive case study focusing on a specific organizational issue. As the first step, students are required to select an organization familiar to them and identify a particular topic related to organizational behavior that needs improvement or analysis. This preliminary synopsis should clearly articulate the chosen organization, the specific issue or topic, and the rationale behind selecting this focus area. Additionally, students must outline what they aim to learn from this study and how they plan to utilize the knowledge gained to propose constructive solutions in the final case analysis. The synopsis must be formatted according to APA standards, including a title page and at least ten scholarly resources beyond the course textbook that will support the subsequent research and analysis.

The importance of this assignment lies in its role as a foundation for a meaningful, research-based case study. By carefully selecting an organization and a relevant issue, students will engage in critical thinking about organizational dynamics, identifying areas for improvement within real-world settings. The topic options are broad, encompassing areas such as organizational structure, motivation, leadership, conflict resolution, or policy development. The rationale for choice should reflect a thoughtful consideration of the problem's impact on the organization and its relevance to organizational behavior principles.

Ultimately, this assignment encourages students to develop a clear, focused research plan that outlines the scope of their upcoming case study project. The one-page synopsis acts as a roadmap, guiding subsequent stages of research, analysis, and solution formulation. Proper adherence to APA formatting ensures academic rigor and prepares students for the formal writing required in the final 10-page submission in Week 8, which will demonstrate their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical organizational issues effectively.
