Read the following poems from the Album "The Art of (Reading) Poetry" (from Norton Anthology): Archibald Macleish’s “Ars Poetica,” Czesław Miłosz’s “Ars Poetica,” Elizabeth Alexander’s “Ars Poetica #100: I Believe,” Marianne Moore’s “Poetry,” Julia Alvarez’s “Poetry Makes Nothing Happen,” and Billy Collins’s “Introduction to Poetry.” Additionally, read the poems in the Albums “The Author’s Work as Context: Adrienne Rich” (page 911) and “Pat Mora: An Album” (page 971).

Choose one poem from "The Art of (Reading) Poetry" and one poem from either “The Author’s Work as Context: Adrienne Rich” or “Pat Mora: An Album” that you believe will pair well together.
