Blog Post Once A Week You Are Required To Submit A Post
Blog Post – Once a week you are required to submit a post on the Canvas blog post of at least 200 words but 400 words max based on an article found either on the Wall Street Journal (wsj.com) or Bloomberg.com. The article must be related to the chapter of the book we are covering that week (see weekly calendar for detail on chapters being covered each week). Your blog post must include: 1) a note on what topic/subject from the textbook it is related to. 2) the post can include a summary of the article but it must also include the connection to the material in the textbook, your reaction and/or analysis of the situation, how this impacts business in the sector or industry, or why this is a read worthy article for your classmates. Weekly blog posts are to be made no later than Tuesdays 11:55 pm. This allows other students to respond to them by 11:55 pm on Friday. Late assignments will not be graded. Here is the attachment for the chapter!
Paper For Above instruction
The weekly blog assignment for students involves creating a post on the Canvas platform that engages critically with current business articles sourced from reputable financial news outlets such as the Wall Street Journal or Bloomberg. The purpose is to connect real-world events with academic concepts covered in the course textbook, fostering deeper understanding of course material and its practical relevance. This task encourages students to analyze recent developments in the business sector, interpret their implications, and reflect on their significance within broader economic or industry contexts.
Each blog post should be between 200 to 400 words, allowing students sufficient space to succinctly summarize the article, articulate its relevance to the textbook topics, and provide personal insights or analysis. For example, if the week's chapter covers supply chain management, students might select an article detailing recent disruptions in global logistics, then discuss how such disruptions illustrate the concepts of supply chain resilience, risk mitigation, or the importance of diversification as presented in the textbook. The post should clearly specify the related textbook topic or chapter, demonstrating that the article serves as a real-world illustration of theoretical principles.
Critical analysis is integral to this assignment. Students are encouraged to explore how the issue affects businesses within the specific sector or industry, considering factors such as market dynamics, regulatory impacts, or technological advancements. Personal reactions might include opinions on how effectively businesses are responding to challenges or on potential future developments. Additionally, articulating why the article is meaningful or educational for classmates can foster discussion and broaden class understanding of current trends.
Timeliness is essential—posts must be submitted by Tuesday at 11:55 pm to enable classmates to respond by Friday at the same time. Late submissions will not be graded, emphasizing the importance of time management and participation. Overall, this assignment aims to develop students' ability to synthesize current business news with academic concepts, promoting active learning and engagement with contemporary issues in the business environment.
