Career Plans & Goals (B2) After graduating, I plan to practice as a nurse in an acute care facility. I am passionate about working with children and would prefer to practice in a children's hospital. For a specialty, I would like to work in oncology; however, I am also interested in critical care. I plan to work at the bedside for several years to gain patient care experience. Throughout my career at the bedside, I aim to take on a leadership role to help educate and mentor new graduate nurses. My long-term goal is to further my education and become a pediatric nurse practitioner, practicing in an acute care setting.
