Choosea Target Behavior For Your Week 5 Self Management Projectwritea

Choose a target behavior for your Week 5 Self-Management Project. Write a 175-word summary on the target behavior in observable and measurable terms. Include the methods that will be used to observe and acquire baseline data. Submit your target behavior description, along with the dimension you will be measuring to your instructor for approval. Note: This is a SELF-management project. That means, this is a behavior that YOU engage in and want to change.

Paper For Above instruction

For my Week 5 Self-Management Project, I have chosen to focus on procrastination during study sessions. The target behavior is "delaying starting or switching tasks repeatedly during designated study periods." This behavior is observable because I notice myself taking longer than planned to begin studying or repeatedly switching between different tasks, thereby reducing overall productivity. The behavior is measurable by tracking the number of times I switch tasks or delay starting within a 2-hour study window. To acquire baseline data, I will use a timer and a log sheet to record the frequency of task switches and delays each day for one week. This information will help establish how often I engage in procrastination and provide a reference point to measure progress after implementing self-management strategies. The primary dimension I will measure is "frequency of task switches/delays per study session," which will guide me in evaluating the effectiveness of my interventions and adjustments throughout the project.
