Please select and complete ONE of the following options, integrating ideas from the weekly lecture and/or articles. You may include additional credible resources if relevant. Clearly indicate which option you have chosen when submitting your assignment. For Options 2 and 3, ensure your paper is double-spaced. The options are:
Option 1: Create a PowerPoint Presentation
Design and format a 10–15 slide Microsoft PowerPoint presentation on one of the learning objectives provided in the "Getting Started – This Week’s Activities" folder. Each slide must be visually engaging and well-organized. The notes section for the entire presentation should total at least 250 words, explaining and supporting the slide content. Include a cover slide and a reference slide (these do not count toward the slide total). At least 60% of your content must be original writing, with no more than 40% sourced from references. Use at least two credible references external to course materials, preferably from scholarly sources in EBSCOhost, and cite all references properly in APA style.
Option 2: News Flash
Select an article from EBSCOhost related to at least one learning objective from the "Getting Started – This Week’s Activities" folder. Summarize the article, then explain how it connects to the chosen learning objective(s). Clearly state the objective(s) in your introduction. The paper should be 500–750 words (roughly 2–3 pages), double-spaced, using size 12 font with 1-inch margins. Include a cover page and a references page. At least 60% of your writing must be original, with no more than 40% based on references. Reference material such as data, quotes, or paraphrased content must come from credible sources like scholarly journals, government sites, or reputable newspapers, cited appropriately in APA style.
Option 3: Traditional Paper on HRM Roles
Research and discuss the fundamental roles of Human Resource Management (HRM) professionals and analyze how these roles have evolved over the years. The paper should be 500–750 words (about 2–3 pages), double-spaced, with size 12 font and 1-inch margins. Include a cover page and a reference page. At least 60% of the content should be original, with no more than 40% from references. Use at least two external sources, like scholarly journals from EBSCOhost, reputable online newspapers, or official government websites. Properly cite all sources and include data, quotes, or paraphrased material with APA citations.
