Engaging in a critical reflection of my growth and development during my practicum has been a profound journey of self-awareness and professional evolution. Throughout this clinical experience, I have gained valuable insights into my capabilities, identified areas for enhancement, and solidified strategies to advance my future practice. These reflections not only illuminate my current competencies but also chart a course for continued growth in the complex landscape of clinical care.
Initially, one of my notable strengths was my ability to build rapport effectively with patients. I found that establishing trust and demonstrating empathy facilitated better communication and more accurate assessments. This ability came naturally, yet I recognized that consistently maintaining this engagement required deliberate effort and active listening skills.
