Dear Studentsfor This Assignment You Will Be Keeping A Fictitious Jo
For this assignment, you will be keeping a fictitious journal by either William Marston, Olive Byrne, or Elizabeth Holloway Marston. In it, you will take on the persona of one of these people, and will be writing "your" perspective about the events described in The Secret History of Wonder Woman. Get into their heads; what do you think each one thought about the events described in the book? How did they really feel about each other? The time period covered should be from the beginning of your character's entrance into the book, until their exit.
Granted that there were some odd sexual practices going on, please keep your journal PG; if it gets too explicit or naughty, I will not read it and you will be graded accordingly!!!!
Your journal needs to be at least 5 pages, with multiple entries. Watch your spelling and grammar; these were highly educated, brilliant people!! Please submit your work here, in the space provided.
Paper For Above instruction
The assignment requires creating a fictitious journal from the perspective of one of three individuals—William Marston, Olive Byrne, or Elizabeth Holloway Marston—covering their experiences related to the events described in The Secret History of Wonder Woman. This journal should delve into the personal thoughts and feelings of the chosen character, exploring their perceptions of the events, their relationships with others involved, and their personal experiences during the period in question.
As an author, your task is to assume the persona of one of these individuals and write multiple journal entries spanning from their initial involvement in the story to their exit. Your writing must authentically reflect their point of view, voice, and personality, based on historical and contextual understanding of each figure. The entries should provide insight into how each character perceived the complex relationships and circumstances surrounding the creation and promotion of Wonder Woman, including any private thoughts about the unconventional practices and dynamics described in the source material.
While the historical context includes unconventional and sexually explicit practices, your journal entries must remain PG-rated. This requires carefully navigating sensitive topics, keeping language appropriate for academic or general audiences, and avoiding explicit descriptions. The focus should be on emotional depth, personal reflections, and interpersonal relationships, rather than explicit content.
Your journal should be a minimum of five pages, consisting of multiple entries that collectively capture a coherent and detailed narrative of your chosen persona's perspective during this period. Be sure to pay attention to spelling, grammar, and overall clarity, demonstrating the intelligence and education of these individuals.
Once completed, submit your journal in the designated space as instructed. Ensure your work demonstrates a thoughtful engagement with the character's mindset and the historical context, providing a nuanced, evidence-based interpretation of their feelings and thoughts regarding the events surrounding Wonder Woman's origins.
