You are required to write a design report with single-column 8 pages (maximum) or double-column 4 pages. It is recommended to write the design report and take the section title according to the following steps.
Step 1: Write the summary of the design report with the assumption that the reader has some knowledge of the subject in question. The summary should provide enough background information about the design.
Step 2: Identify the exact design problem in the report. Also, discuss the objectives and assumptions of the design as well as design alternatives and the design you are reporting on.
