Relying solely on AI could result in morally questionable decisions or neglect of individual patient needs. Involving human professionals in the decision-making process helps clarify information, facilitates dialogue, and respects patient autonomy. According to Floridi et al. (2018), ethical AI deployment must prioritize human agency and informed participation.
In conclusion, while AI has the potential to revolutionize healthcare by increasing efficiency and accuracy, its use must be carefully regulated to preserve ethical standards.
