Over the course of the quarter, you will be presented with various prompts via Canvas to write discussions on. Your responses will need to be at least two paragraphs in length and you will need to respond to 2 other students’ posts. Responses should be posted by 11:59pm Sunday evenings. Late responses are only eligible for 79% of the grade. When answering discussion questions, responses should be at least two paragraphs, include personal reflection related to the question, and demonstrate thoughtful engagement. Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation are required. It is recommended to write and proofread responses in Word before posting.

In responding to classmates, reply to two posts with thoughtful, detailed comments of at least five sentences each. Avoid simple agreement or disagreement; instead, provide analysis, benefits, or personal connections. Use questions to deepen engagement, such as asking about their perspectives or experiences. If writing is difficult, oral recordings may be uploaded as responses. Use guided questions to evaluate posts, including summarizing, agreeing or disagreeing with reasons, and reflecting on interesting points or personal connections.
