This individual assignment is based on the task which students need to complete as per the requirements given in the following sections. You must choose two entrepreneurs/business leaders fulfilling the following criteria:

  • One entrepreneur should be from Geelong/Melbourne/Australia.
  • One entrepreneur should be from your family background or your local region.
  • Both entrepreneurs/business leaders should have an engineering or technology background.

Your task is to do research on these two successful entrepreneurs in their respective businesses and submit a comprehensive research paper which can include a critical review from various resources. You must use at least four different types of resources such as books, scholarly articles, reports, and the internet.

Your response to this task should include:

  • A literature review of common traits and skills of entrepreneurs, with analysis and justification of the chosen research literature.
  • Research and discussion on the life and work of the chosen entrepreneurs and how each demonstrated the entrepreneur’s characteristics in their business.
  • How the different business approaches followed contributed to their success or failures in their organization.
  • Recommendations for areas of improvement for your selected entrepreneurs.
  • What is inspiring about these entrepreneurs and what you learned from their work.
