The company's annual report is particularly valuable for insights.
The purpose is to write a four- to six-page paper that includes the following analyses:
- Identify and evaluate the two segments of the general environment with the highest influence on the corporation and its industry.
- Analyze how these environmental segments affect the corporation and the industry.
- Considering Porter's five forces of competition, select two of the most significant forces affecting the company.
- Assess how effectively the company has addressed these forces recently and predict measures it might implement in the near future to better manage these forces.
- Evaluate external threats and opportunities facing the corporation; propose how the company should respond to the most significant threat and opportunity, justifying your recommendations.
- Identify the company's greatest strengths and most significant weaknesses; recommend strategic actions to leverage strengths and address weaknesses, providing justification.
- Determine the company’s resources, capabilities, and core competencies, supported by credible references from the Strayer University Library.
