Find an individual who fits one of the following three types of global leadership

For this assignment, each student will find an individual who fits one of the following three types of global leadership: (1) Entrepreneurial Leader, (2) Big Business Leader, or (3) Nonprofit Leader. The selected leader should have achieved recognizable success in their field or sector with an international dimension, and most accomplishments should have occurred over the last 30 years. The student will then analyze this leader's background, achievements, and leadership style, focusing on how various factors contributed to their success, culminating in a comprehensive paper.

The paper must include an examination of the leader’s background or upbringing, educational background, and any non-professional international experiences. It should also explore the leader’s networking activities or involvement with community or national organizations, and discuss specific professional achievements that have directly impacted their reputation. Additionally, the analysis must address why the individual is considered a global leader and categorize their leadership style. The paper should also identify the network, cultural, or institutional factors that facilitated their success, and conclude with lessons about leadership that can be gleaned from their accomplishments.

The assignment requires adhering to specific formatting guidelines: double spacing, font size 12, 1-inch margins on all sides, and inclusion of sub-headings for each section. Page numbers should be present, and exhibits should be labeled sequentially corresponding to the order discussed. A title page with the student's full name and a bibliography in APA style, with in-text citations, must be included. The total length should not exceed 10 pages.

In the paper, incorporate concepts learned in class to thoroughly address all questions. Conduct thorough research on the chosen leader, ensuring the presentation is professional, well-structured, and correctly formatted. Presentation Details

Students are required to present their paper in a brief oral presentation lasting no longer than 7 minutes, highlighting key points: (1) brief background; (2) the individual as a global leader; and (3) main takeaways regarding global leadership. A short Q&A may follow. Presenters should prepare slides summarizing their main points and include a bibliography. The cover slide of the presentation must list the paper title, date, and full name, and indicate all sources used during the presentation.
