In this discussion, you will share the leadership skills and behaviors you have identified and provide some brief rationale for the selection. You will also receive feedback and possibly questions from your peers, which you can evaluate and use to modify the leadership skills and behaviors you have chosen, if desired.
Consider the following during the ongoing discussion: Do the leadership skills and behaviors identified for improvement align with a specific question in the engagement survey? How will improvement in the leadership skills and behaviors you have identified positively impact the results in the next employee engagement survey? Write a post of 1 to 2 paragraphs.

In evaluating my leadership skills through the adaptive leadership framework, I have identified several key behaviors that I believe are critical to fostering a productive and engaged work environment. My highest-ranked behavior is "Enable Others to Act," which emphasizes empowering team members, fostering collaboration, and building trust. This aligns with my goal to cultivate a team-oriented atmosphere where individuals feel supported and valued, ultimately leading to increased engagement and productivity. Encouraging others not only boosts morale but also promotes shared accountability, facilitating more innovative solutions and higher overall performance. The rationale behind this choice stems from the understanding that effective leadership is rooted in empowerment, which directly correlates with positive employee outcomes and organizational success.
My second-ranked behavior is "Encourage the Heart," which involves recognizing achievements and expressing appreciation. Acknowledging team efforts nurtures motivation and loyalty, contributing to a positive organizational culture. Model the Way" stands at third, highlighting the importance of leading by example and setting ethical standards to influence others positively. "Challenge the Process," ranked fourth, involves seeking continuous improvement and embracing change, which is vital in dynamic work environments. Lastly, "Inspire a Shared Vision," ranked lowest, is essential for long-term strategic alignment but may require additional focus to enhance its effectiveness. Improving these skills could directly impact the upcoming employee engagement survey by fostering a more inclusive and motivating environment, increasing participation, and boosting overall satisfaction. As leaders improve in empowering others and recognizing contributions, team members are more likely to feel committed, resulting in better survey outcomes and sustained organizational growth.
