Having a well established, consistent and comprehendible human resources policy is key for a well-organized company operation as well as a good employee work-life balance and work satisfaction. To be able to achieve our goal and vision we have to maintain policies that will make sure all our employees are able to provide the best customer service. HR policies will also help organize the structure, discipline the employees, and regulate behavior. The following are five essential HR policies implemented in our organization:

Part-time workers and interns working at least 4 hours are granted a 30-minute break, which includes their meal period. Each department manages break schedules to ensure continuous service coverage; employees are required to communicate before leaving for a break to prevent staffing shortages. Such policies promote work-life balance and operational efficiency while accommodating the needs of employees.

4. Employee Schedule, Attendance, and Punctuality

Punctuality and adherence to work schedules are critical for operational success. Employees are expected to arrive a few minutes before their shift starts and to be ready to commence work at the scheduled time. The use of fingerprint scanners records attendance, requiring employees to clock in at the start and end of their shifts. Sick leave and holiday requests are accommodated based on the situation and are submitted in advance whenever possible. With the proliferation of smartphones, a balanced approach to cell phone usage during work hours is necessary.
