During this module/week you will find an article dealing with the development and/or performance of a needs assessment. The article must come from the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, American Journal of Public Health, or another peer-reviewed source. You will read the article, evaluate needs assessment methodologies, briefly summarize its contents, and compare the findings to the assigned readings from Healthy People 2020 and other literature dealing with needs assessment methodologies.

Introduction
In this section, discuss the following: Statement of the Problem; Purpose of the Study; Research Questions or Hypotheses and Limitations (if any).
Methodology
This section will include Methods; Participants; Data Collection Procedures and Data Analysis Procedures. You will also discuss the quality of the literature review the author completed before writing the article. In some cases, there will be a dedicated section on the literature review; in others, it may be dispersed throughout the article.
Discuss whether the literature review was present, its usefulness, its rigor, and what you learned from it. Mention any surprises encountered during your review.
Results
Report the results of the study clearly. For quantitative studies, include detailed numerical data; for qualitative studies, specify emerging themes and topics.
Conclusions and Recommendations
Summarize the conclusions or recommendations made by the researcher. Focus on the implications of the findings for practice, identifying what the study suggests for community health.
Discussion
Begin on a new page following your conclusions/recommendations. Evaluate the research methods, discussing the rigor, usefulness, validity, reliability, soundness, design, and applicability of the study to community health. Provide your opinion on the overall quality of the research project.
References
Include at least one additional scholarly source beyond the article reviewed. Organize references numerically in AMA format, starting on a new page with the heading 'References' in bold and left-justified. References should be cited in the order they appear in the text.
