Human Sexuality Desire Disorders
Human Sexuality Desire Disorders 2human Sexuality Desire Disord
In this assignment, you will create an annotated bibliography of the resources you plan to use for your Human Sexuality Project. This assignment is meant to provide you with a start on the research for the project assignments that are due in Weeks 9 and 10. As your work progresses, you may incorporate additional resources.
For this assignment, select 10 peer-reviewed journal articles related to the issue you identified in Week 2. All sources should be available in the Capella library or online scholarly journals. The resources you identify should address the following elements: a) The role that anatomy and physiology of human sexuality may play regarding this issue. b) The potential impact of this issue on persons with disabilities, including myths and cultural implications. c) How victimization, consumerism, ethics, morality, cultural mores, and laws impact this issue.
For each of the 10 sources, craft a short (2–3 paragraph) summary, or annotation.
Paper For Above instruction
The task involves composing an annotated bibliography of ten scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles that are pertinent to a specific human sexuality issue identified earlier. This exercise aims to facilitate initial research preparations for subsequent project assignments due in Weeks 9 and 10, with the flexibility to update or expand the list as the research evolves.
The selected resources must be accessible through the Capella library or reputable online scholarly journals, ensuring they meet academic standards. Each entry should comprehensively address three key elements: the influence of human sexuality's anatomy and physiology concerning the chosen issue; the potential effects of this issue on individuals with disabilities—including societal myths and cultural dimensions; and the impact of victimization, consumerism, ethics, morality, cultural mores, and legal considerations on the issue.
For each journal article, students should produce a concise annotation of two to three paragraphs. This annotation must include a complete APA citation, a summary of the main purpose and content of the work, an explanation of why it constitutes a valuable source for the project, an assessment of its relevance, and notes of any particular features, biases, or weaknesses. This thorough annotation process encourages critical engagement with the sources and helps in synthesizing information relevant to human sexuality and desire disorders.
The project guidelines specify that the annotated bibliography should include a minimum of 10 scholarly references, predominantly recent (within the last six years), to ensure contemporary relevance. While textbooks are excluded as primary sources, they may be listed as auxiliary references if appropriate. The final document should conform to current APA style, double-spaced, and formatted in Times New Roman 12-point font, spanning roughly 5 to 10 pages.
