CLASSMATE’S POST The assignment that had the biggest and most positive impact on me was the Unit VII essay on health care in the United States and government’s role in health care. I was able to highlight some of the deficiencies Veterans encounter within the VA system and I was able to investigate better ways in which health care can be administered and regulated. This course will be very helpful in my career as a firefighter as it has opened my eyes to many concepts I previously had little or no knowledge of. It will help me better interact with and understand patients and citizens I encounter and I have opened my eyes to new levels of understanding and compassion.
