Identify Credible Resources Aligning With Four Critical Sect
Identify credible resources aligning with four critical sections of the course project
This course requires you to submit the course project in Module Nine. However, you’ll complete multiple preparation assignments along the way to guide you to a successful submission of the project. For this assignment, you will identify credible resources aligning with four critical sections of the course project. You will list your resources in a reference document using APA format and briefly describe how each resource is appropriate for the project. Your submission does not need to be structured like an annotated bibliography, but it should have enough resources to help you get started with the course project.
The preparation work you will submit through this assignment will help you complete the course project on time. Directions: Create a reference document that lists the resources for the course project. Refer to the “Getting Started with Research at Shapiro Library" section of the Shapiro Library Guide: Nursing—Graduate, located in the Start Here section of the course, to help you complete this assignment. If you need writing support, access the Online Writing Center through the Academic Support module of your course.
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria: 1. Content: Identify at least two resources for each of the four critical sections in the course project: Strategic Planning, Healthcare Reimbursement, Revenue Cycle Process, and Reimbursement Compliance. Do not include any resources provided in any of the Module Resources sections throughout the course. 2. Relevance: Describe the relevance of the resources you identified in a short paragraph, using two to three sentences for each resource. Consider how the resource aligns with the relevant section and how it will inform your writing and serve as evidence. 3. Credibility: Explain why the sources you identified are credible, scholarly, and/or professional resources, highlighting their importance. Consider if they are peer-reviewed or from reputable sources such as government websites, and whether they are current within the last five years. 4. Gap Assessment: Identify gaps in your research and determine how to close these gaps, such as conducting further research or interviewing leadership. Note areas needing additional sources and research methods to fill knowledge gaps. All claims must be evidence-based, with citations from credible, current sources (published within the last five years). You must cite at least two sources, with at least one being independent of your own research.
What to Submit: Submit a 1- to 2-page Microsoft Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins, including a title page. Sources should be cited according to APA style.

Credibility of Sources
The credibility of these sources is established through their publication by reputable organizations, peer-reviewed status, and currency. For instance, the CMS website is an authoritative government resource, ensuring the accuracy of reimbursement policies. Books like Aron’s are published by academic publishers, undergoing rigorous editorial review, confirming their scholarly credibility. Industry associations such as the HFMA provide vetted best practices grounded in extensive professional experience.
