Our group primarily communicated through weekly meetings during lab time and via email. During our lab sessions, we would meet regularly to discuss the project and coordinate our tasks. Additionally, we used email to share documents, updates, and clarify any questions outside of scheduled lab meetings. This combination of face-to-face discussion and digital communication helped ensure our team stayed aligned and productive throughout the project.

In our group, communication primarily occurred through weekly meetings held during lab hours, which allowed us to discuss our progress face-to-face, address any concerns, and plan upcoming tasks. These in-person meetings facilitated immediate feedback and fostered collaboration among team members. Alongside these meetings, we relied heavily on email as a digital communication tool to share documents, provide updates, and clarify details outside of our scheduled lab sessions. In our team, task assignment was structured based on the distinct parts of the project. There were three main sections to complete, and we divided these among the group members accordingly. Two members collaborated closely to finish their respective parts, working together to ensure consistency and quality. One member independently completed his assigned section, managing his workload autonomously. Once individual sections were completed, we shared our work with each other for review and integration, ensuring a cohesive final product. This division of tasks allowed us to utilize each member’s strengths and complete the project efficiently by leveraging collaborative effort and individual accountability.
What roles did each team member assume? Examples: team leader, reviewer, coordinator, worker, etc.
Brett assumed the role of team leader, guiding the overall direction of the project and delegating specific tasks to team members to ensure timely completion. His leadership provided structure and kept the team focused on our objectives. The other team members acted as workers responsible for completing their assigned sections. We also had a reviewer role, which involved collectively reviewing each other’s work before submission to maintain quality and consistency. This division of roles facilitated organized collaboration, with Brett coordinating efforts and others executing their parts effectively, resulting in a well-structured and cohesive project presentation.
Did your group experience any conflicts? If so, how did you resolve them? If not, how would you have resolved them if they had occurred?
Our group did not encounter any significant conflicts during the course of the project. Everyone fulfilled their roles responsibly, and communication was smooth and respectful. Had conflicts arisen, we would have addressed them through open discussion to identify the root cause and find mutually agreeable solutions. If needed, we would have involved the professor as a mediator or advisor to facilitate resolution and ensure that disagreements did not hinder our progress. Our proactive approach to communication and willingness to collaborate would likely have helped us resolve any issues quickly and maintain a positive team dynamic.
