Information Systems Research Project 1 Table Of Contents
Information Systems Research Project1 Table Of Contents Overview
In this course, you will write a research paper about how the technologies we are learning could benefit a business.
Before beginning to develop your paper, you will select your five IS-related solutions from the list provided in the course (Module 3). Working on this Research Project paper will help you better understand Information Systems (ISs) that are frequently used by managers at many levels in various types of organizations. You will also enhance your professional growth by conducting research using primary sources to write this scholarly paper.
You are working, hypothetically, for a medium-to-large aviation-related enterprise, and thanks to your ERAU College of Business degree, you have substantial knowledge of IS. Because of your expertise, you were placed in a mid-to-upper level management position. Now your superiors expect results! Upper management has asked you to investigate and evaluate five different IS solutions that, if implemented, could improve and enhance the efficiency of the company's various business processes, leading to increased profitability.
The Research Project is broken down into four assignments that you will complete throughout the course. You will submit these assignments in Modules 3, 5, 7, and 8. Follow the detailed instructions in the Project Submission section of this document to complete these submissions.
Paper For Above instruction
Develop a comprehensive research paper analyzing five selected Information System (IS) solutions that could benefit a medium-to-large aviation company. Your paper should include an introduction to the need for IS solutions within the company, detailed analysis of each selected solution, and an assessment of their potential impacts on organizational performance, competitive advantage, and operational efficiency. Incorporate scholarly research, industry examples, and solutions offered by retail vendors to support your analysis. Discuss frameworks for internal development and implementation, evaluate strengths, weaknesses, and costs, and elucidate how each solution aligns with organizational strategy. Conclude with a synthesis of how the selected solutions collectively could drive business growth and sustainability.
