Thirteen chapters from Think Better, Write Better (TBWB) are among your assigned readings for this semester. From those thirteen chapters, choose five —any five—and answer the four Reflections questions at the end. Each answer should be approximately 50-75 words, which would normally be between four and six sentences. That way, you should be able to fit all four answers to the questions on a single page in a Word document.
You do not need to put an MLA-style heading on each page—not even the first one. Just put the chapter at the top, centered, as a title (Chapter Five, for example) and your full name in the header, top right. Do not write the number of each question, as this will cause your text to be indented.
Just write out the full question in bold font, then write your answer in regular font (not bold). You do not need to skip an extra space between questions. You should be able to tell when you move from one question to the next because of the bold font. Refer to the example posted to see what this should look like.
If you follow these directions, your completed assignment should consist of five pages—one for each chapter—with four answers on each page. You will submit all five pages together as a single Word doc or PDF.
Please do not submit the pages separately. Each question is worth up to five points, meaning the entire assignment is worth 100 points. I will give partial credit as appropriate. I will evaluate these for substance and adherence to these directions rather than grading them as essays. If your answers are satisfactory, you should get full or near-full credit. If they are less than satisfactory—such as being too short, lacking substance, or not following directions—you will receive less than full credit.
Paper For Above instruction
The assignment requires selecting five chapters from "Think Better, Write Better" (TBWB), each accompanied by four reflection questions. For each chapter, students must craft five responses, approximately 50-75 words each, addressing the Reflection questions at the end of the chapter. The responses should be concise, between four and six sentences, fitting all four answers on a single page per chapter in a Word document or PDF. The pages should be formatted without individual question numbers; instead, each question should be written in full, bolded, followed by the answer in regular font. Each page should display the chapter title centered at the top and the student's full name in the header. Submissions should be consolidated into one document encompassing all five chapters. Submissions should adhere strictly to these formatting and content guidelines to ensure full credit, with partial credit awarded for responses that meet some but not all criteria, focusing on substance and adherence rather than grading as essays.
