My peer is a registered dietitian working primarily in outpatient clinical settings. Their role involves assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing individualized nutrition plans, and collaborating with other healthcare team members to promote patient health outcomes. They emphasized that their role is vital for managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, where nutrition plays a central part in treatment.

Regarding professionalism, my peer defined it as a commitment to ethical standards, accountability, and continuous learning.
