On May 24, consultants from SharePoint will assist the IT staff with changes to our SharePoint infrastructure. The exact timing is not yet known; we will inform you once it is scheduled. During this period, SharePoint will be unavailable via both the client software and the company portal website. The upgrade aims to unify SharePoint into a single credentials system.
This affects all users, whether accessing SharePoint through the client software or the my.pfeiffer.edu portal. All employees will be impacted. After the maintenance, access will be restored, and staff will log in with their Active Directory (AD) credentials. Your previous SharePoint login will no longer work.
If you do not know your AD credentials, please contact the Help Desk. We also encourage registration for the Self-Service Password Reset system, which enables you to reset forgotten passwords or unlock accounts. Registration will become increasingly important, and a how-to document is attached. Additionally, the new system allows remote access outside the company network for added convenience.
