My intentions with meditation are to incorporate it within my daily lifestyle as a tool. I meditate when I feel restless before bed. My intentions with the environment are to do my part in improving my community by picking up trash whenever I am out and about. My intentions with rest, relaxation, and recreation are to include a day consisting of one of each every week, spending time facetiming friends and relaxing with family. My intention with nutrition is to be mindful of what I put into my body, ensuring I always have a water bottle with me wherever I go. My intention with exercise is to stay physically active each day, whether by going on a walk, lifting dumbbells, or swimming. My intention with mindful communication is to be present in every conversation I enter by putting away distractions, making eye contact, and engaging fully. My intention with building positive relationships is to show forgiveness and gratitude, expressing to my close family and friends how grateful I am for them as often as possible. My personal vision statement is to fulfill my life by helping others, loving those close to me, and enjoying the life I am able to live, making choices that meet my needs and follow my desired journey. My favorite quote is “Be the change that you wish to see in the world” by Mahatma Gandhi. Additionally, I aim to become a qualified economic scholar at a good university, seeking a professional position that provides me with identity, self-satisfaction, economic independence, and the liberty to follow my own path in life.
