This source offers rich content for analysis as it combines empirical data with persuasive rhetoric, making it an excellent candidate for examining rhetorical strategies and their effectiveness in shaping public opinion about social media’s effects on young people.

My analytical framework will focus on rhetorical appeals—ethos, pathos, and logos—and how the author employs these strategies to persuade the audience. Specifically, I will analyze how the author utilizes emotional stories and statistical data to evoke concern (pathos), establishes credibility through expert citations (ethos), and constructs logical arguments that highlight correlations between social media use and mental health issues (logos).
