To do this comprehensively, I selected a manager from my current workplace, a retail store manager named Lisa, who oversees daily operations, manages a team of fifteen employees, and is responsible for sales, customer satisfaction, and staff development.
First, the interpersonal roles involve activities that establish, maintain, and enhance relationships. Lisa exemplifies this through her role as a Figurehead when she attends community events representing the store, fostering local relationships. As a leader, she motivates her staff by holding regular meetings to encourage teamwork and recognize individual achievements, strengthening team cohesion. Additionally, her role as a liaison is evident when she coordinates between her team and upper management, communicating staff needs and feedback.
