Assignment Instructions: 4. Cover Page - please USE a cover page on all the assignment papers you submit. Copy and paste the actual questions or task from the assignment onto your cover page for each paper. That will help you make sure you answer the whole assignment and will let me know you have the most current version of the course. Read the assignments carefully and make sure you respond to each part.
Stick to the number of pages noted in the assignment’s expectations – no more, no less. The intent of all assignments is to see YOUR work, and how well YOU support your case. External materials should NOT comprise MORE than 5-10 % of your paper, and if external materials are used, they should be properly cited in-text and in a reference section.
Writing Style and Format: a. Please adhere to the TUI required writing style, to be found in your course syllabus page - set your page and font settings to: (a) Times New Roman, pitch 12, and (b) One (1) inch all-around margins. In MS Word click on FILE and then on PAGE SETUP and then set margins. b. References: Master level students are NOT required (although most encouraged) to follow APA, but should be consistent in their citations, example: Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (yyyy). Title. Journal. Papers that do not contain in-text citations and a reference list will not be accepted.

The assignment instructions emphasize the importance of adhering to specific formatting, submission, and citation guidelines. A proper cover page must be included with each submission, containing the original assignment questions to demonstrate understanding and ensure completeness. Follow the specified page and formatting requirements meticulously, which include using Times New Roman, font size 12, and one-inch margins on all sides, to uphold academic standards and presentation quality.
It is crucial to keep the paper within the prescribed length to accurately reflect your work. External sources should constitute no more than 5-10% of the total content, and they must be properly cited both within the text and in the references section to maintain academic integrity. Proper citation formats, such as APA, are encouraged, but at minimum, consistency in citation style is essential.
The purpose of these guidelines is to promote clear, professional, and ethical academic writing. Your work should demonstrate your understanding of the assignment and the ability to support your arguments with appropriate evidence. Ensuring proper formatting and citation not only reflects your academic discipline but also strengthens the credibility of your work.
Adherence to these instructions will facilitate a fair evaluation process and ensure that your submission meets the expectations of the course. Carefully reviewing the assignment questions and following the specified requirements will help you produce a comprehensive, well-organized paper that aligns with academic standards.
