Alhara School is situated in a rural area, operating in an old rental building that serves as both a middle school and a high school. The school has a total of 190 students, with a significant majority of 90% being Bedouin students. The remaining students are from other nationalities, constituting 9%, and a small minority of 1% are modern or urban residents. The student body is diverse in cultural background, which will be considered in the survey to ensure inclusivity and representation.

The school employs 20 teachers, of whom 90% identify as modern, urban educators, and the remaining 10% are Bedouin teachers. The staff's demographic diversity provides an opportunity to explore potential differences in perspectives and experiences based on cultural backgrounds. The school infrastructure presents several challenges; most classrooms are poorly ventilated with inadequate air conditioning, windows are broken in many classrooms, and there is no shaded area for students during lunch. The lunch area is open, and students are exposed to the sun, which could influence their experience and perceptions. Additionally, the playground is located outside the school premises and remains undeveloped, limiting outdoor activity options for students.

For the survey, I will include both students and teachers as respondents. I plan to conduct surveys for students in all classes and interview teachers to gather qualitative insights. The sampling will be conducted randomly to ensure fairness and unbiased representation. I will select two teachers from each educational level (middle and high school) and three students from each class. This approach aims to capture the demographic diversity of the students and teachers, including gender, ethnicity, and years of experience, thus providing comprehensive insights into the school's environment and challenges.

By selecting respondents randomly within these stratifications, the survey results will more accurately reflect the school's demographic composition, allowing for valid inferences about the perceptions and experiences of the wider student and teacher populations. This methodology intends to facilitate understanding of how infrastructural issues and demographic factors influence the school community, informing future improvements and interventions.
