Paper For Above instruction

This assignment focuses on analyzing five scholarly articles published within this year related to a single terrorist organization discussed in our textbook. The goal is to examine the issues each author addresses, their research methodologies, and their key conclusions, providing a comprehensive understanding of current academic perspectives on the organization. Selecting a terrorist group such as ISIS, Al-Qaeda, or Boko Haram, students are expected to conduct targeted searches on scholar.google.com, filtering for recent publications, and retrieve relevant articles via EBSCOhost. Each article must be thoroughly read and analyzed, with proper APA citation formatting for references and in-text citations.

In constructing the paper, students should present per article: first, a complete APA-style reference. Then, an explanation of the problem the author addresses, emphasizing the significance of this issue within terrorism studies. Next, a description of the methodology employed—be it qualitative analysis, case studies, interviews, or data analysis—and why this approach is appropriate. Finally, a summary of the author's conclusions, highlighting implications for understanding terrorist motivations, strategies, or counterterrorism efforts. Despite the absence of formal introduction or conclusion sections, each paragraph must start with a clear topic sentence, followed by supporting sentences with citations, and end with a closing sentence.

Formatting requirements include a cover sheet adhering to APA standards, 1-inch margins, Times New Roman 12-point font, and double spacing. Accurate manual APA formatting for all references and citations is essential, as automated citation tools are not permitted. The paper requires no specific minimum length but must fully address all points for each article and consist of detailed, well-structured paragraphs. This comprehensive analysis aims to deepen understanding of contemporary academic discourse surrounding terrorism and its organizational aspects.
