Vulnerable populations, such as African Americans and low-income communities, are disproportionately impacted, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions. Efforts to combat CVD in Florida include public health campaigns promoting healthy lifestyles, improved access to healthcare services, and community-based programs aimed at risk reduction (Florida Department of Health, 2021). The health, economic, and social impacts are profound—CVD contributes to increased hospitalizations, loss of productivity, and financial strain on families and healthcare systems (Benjamin et al., 2019).
