Prepare a draft of your factual overview of the scenario (see attached). Identify the questions that you will resolve in your proposal. Be sure to do this from the perspective of the reader and ultimate audience—the executive. Never make your reader guess about the issues you will address. As you create a factual overview, think about the level of detail necessary to support your entire proposal.

You want to aim for sufficient detail as a foundation for the rest of your final project. At the same time, you do not want to overwhelm the executive. Your overview needs to address background information as well as key principles to inform your executive’s actions. Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:

Prepare a comprehensive factual overview of the scenario provided in the attachment, focusing on clearly stating the key questions that need resolution within your proposal. From the perspective of an executive audience, identify and articulate the core issues and decision points relevant to the scenario. Your overview should include background information to contextualize the issues, as well as a discussion of relevant management principles and population health improvement strategies that are applicable to the situation.

Additionally, identify methods related to financing, evaluating, and enhancing healthcare delivery, operations, and facilities that are suggested or implied by the scenario. Discuss relevant healthcare delivery principles and technologies that could influence the resolution of the issues presented. The goal is to create a detailed yet concise factual foundation that supports your upcoming proposal, ensuring clarity for the executive without overwhelming with excessive detail.

This overview should be approximately 2-3 pages in length, formatted in MS Word with double-spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Incorporate at least three APA-cited references to substantiate your analysis, both within the text and on the reference page.
