The influence of learning over time and technological innovation plays a vital role in shaping this culture. This paper reviews the impact of these changes on organizational culture, especially in relation to IT project success, and examines key roles within organizations and how technological management influences internal communication.
Impact of Learning Changes Over Time on Organizational Culture and IT Project Success
Learning within organizations is a dynamic process that reflects evolving knowledge, skills, and attitudes of employees (Lepak & Snell, 2020). As organizations grow and face new challenges, their collective learning experiences lead to shifts in core values, norms, and practices, ultimately impacting the organizational culture (Schein, 2010). For instance, a shift towards continuous learning and adaptation fosters a culture that values innovation, flexibility, and resilience (Garvin, 2017). Such cultural evolution facilitates more effective management of IT projects by promoting openness to change, fostering collaboration, and encouraging risk-taking (Boehm, 2018).
