Paper For Above instruction

In this paper, I will outline the preparation steps for conducting an interview with a professional experienced in quality improvement to fulfill the requirements of the HA3110D - Quality Improvement and Risk Management LP02 assignment. The interview aims to gather insights into real-world process improvements and outcomes, providing a practical perspective for the subsequent report in LP03.

The selected interviewee is Jane Smith, the Operations Manager at GreenTech Solutions. Jane has over 15 years of experience in process optimization, quality assurance, and project management within a manufacturing context. Her role has involved leading initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Her extensive background in implementing quality improvement strategies makes her an ideal subject for the interview, even though her experience is outside healthcare. Her insights will offer valuable lessons on change management, overcoming resistance, and the tangible impacts of process improvements.

My choice to interview Jane is primarily based on her demonstrated ability to lead successful quality initiatives that resulted in measurable improvements. Her role involves collaborating across departments and influencing organizational culture towards continuous quality enhancement. Learning from her experiences will enhance my understanding of practical quality improvement applications and leadership in managing change, which are pertinent to the learning objectives of this course.

The interview is scheduled to take place on March 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. The mode of the interview will be via Skype, allowing for a detailed conversation with visual cues and the possibility of recording for accuracy. The choice of Skype facilitates remote interviewing, accommodating both my and Jane's availability while maintaining a personal connection that can enrich the interview quality.
