Integrity fosters trust and sets a moral example, creating a foundation for ethical decision-making. Empathy enables leaders to connect with their team, understanding individual needs and fostering a supportive work environment. Decisiveness ensures timely and confident actions, especially crucial during crises or significant change. These traits collectively inspire followers and cultivate a positive organizational culture.

In my workplace, I've observed various leadership styles, including transformational and transactional methods. Transformational leaders motivate employees through inspiration, fostering innovation and commitment. Transactional leaders, on the other hand, focus on structure, clear objectives, and rewards or penalties. I hope to emulate transformational leadership because of its emphasis on motivating others, encouraging creativity, and fostering a shared vision. Such an approach promotes engagement and professional growth, aligning with my personal leadership ambitions.

Regarding Marissa Mayer's leadership, her tenure as CEO of Yahoo illustrates both leadership qualities and challenges.
