Reassessment and Adjustment Instructions: Read the material at the sites listed in the Week 6 Lessons folder to help guide your reassessment and adjustment of the solutions, risks and impact to your client in relation to the management problem you are exploring. Complete 1 or more page paper. Read the material at the following websites: Welcome to Week Six! Reassessment and Adjustment is your opportunity to look at the changes that will take place as a result of your recommendations. If you anticipate these changes will be accepted and adopted you probably are on the right path.
But even if you are on the right path, you will most likely experience some resistance to change from somewhere in the organization. The readings this week address change in an organization. When you do your reassessment and adjustments to your findings and recommendations, consider how you may help your client address the issues surrounding the changes you are advising. This is your week to look over all your work thus far in the class. As you do so, please make sure: • You have clearly state the problem to be addressed • You understand the needs of the organization as they relate to the problem • The solution you have proposed actually relates to the problem you identified • You have identified the risks and rewards that relate to the original problem and the solution you have proposed • You have identified the impacts to the organization and the stakeholders If you will make no changes after you have reevaluated your work to this point, you should discuss how you reevaluated your work in the paper and state that you will continue on the path you are currently moving along.
If you make any changes or adjustments, your paper should state the changes you will make to your original analysis and recommendation and the reason for the changes. I would expect at this point you will not have major changes but if you do find you need to “begin again” please take the time to go through all the steps in order to turn out a quality product. NOTE: Research is required for this an all of the papers in this class. You must have a minimum of two sources each week, neither of which can be Wikepedia.

The process of reassessment and adjustment is a critical component in the ongoing management of organizational change. It requires careful evaluation of initial findings, recommendations, and their potential impact within the client organization. As organizational environments are dynamic, re-evaluating these elements ensures that strategies remain relevant and effective in addressing the core problems identified.
In my initial analysis, I identified a specific management problem within the client organization—namely, the lack of effective communication between departments, which hindered operational efficiency and employee engagement. My proposed solution involved implementing an integrated communication platform combined with leadership training to foster transparency and teamwork. After reflecting on the feedback received and reviewing the organizational context, I recognize the need to incorporate additional change management strategies, such as stakeholder engagement and resistance management techniques, to facilitate smoother adoption of these initiatives.
During the reassessment process, I considered potential resistance stemming from entrenched organizational culture and fear of change among employees. To address this, I would engage stakeholders at all levels more proactively, ensuring their concerns are acknowledged and addressed early in the process. Moreover, ongoing training and communication would be enhanced to reinforce the benefits of the new communication platform and to motivate participation.
Despite the need for adjustments, I believe that my core recommendation remains valid; however, I now see the importance of emphasizing change management processes to mitigate resistance and ensure successful implementation. If I had found significant flaws or new information that called for a fundamental change, I would revisit the entire analysis, possibly redefining the problem or proposing a different solution. However, given the current insights, I plan to continue with my initial strategy, integrating the additional change management considerations to improve outcomes.
This reassessment confirms that continuous review and flexibility are essential in strategic planning. It enhances the likelihood that proposed solutions will be adopted successfully and sustain organizational improvement. Future actions will include monitoring the implementation progress and adjusting tactics as needed to keep the change process aligned with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
