The assignment has three parts: select and submit your topic for approval by the end of Week 3; create and submit an outline by the end of Week 5; and, finally, write the research paper.

The research paper must include a body of at least 8 pages (double-spaced), a title page, and a reference page. It should incorporate a minimum of 10 internet-based scholarly or academic sources and include at least two Bible verses related to the topic. The paper should also discuss how the research impacts your approach to justice administration.

Sources for the paper must come from peer-reviewed articles, scholarly works, government websites, justice administration agency websites, the Bible, and other online academic-quality sources. College textbooks may be used as supporting references but will not count toward the grade. Review the Research Paper Grading Rubric for detailed guidance on content and structure.
