The research/position paper must be 10-12 pages long, formatted with Arial or Times New Roman 12-point font, and double-spaced. Include a cover page with the title and your name. The paper must include at least six academically credible sources, excluding encyclopedias. Primary sources may be used along with secondary sources. The paper should be written as a position paper addressed to your department's authority, clearly presenting options, justifications, and legal or regulatory support. The structure must comprise an introduction with a thesis statement, a body discussing central themes supported by citations, and a conclusion synthesizing the themes persuasively.
