My Individual Development Plan (IDP) is designed to promote personal growth and professional development through structured mentoring and coaching techniques that align with Christian values, particularly love and integrity. The mentoring approach emphasizes setting clear goals, modeling good behavior, and fostering confidence—principles that resonate deeply with Christian teachings. Love, as a core Christian value, underscores the importance of caring for the mentee's well-being and demonstrating empathy and respect throughout the mentoring process. By modeling good behavior—such as honesty, kindness, and patience—I aim to exemplify love in action, encouraging the mentee to emulate these qualities (Wroblewski, 2018). Additionally, integrity is embedded in my commitment to honesty and transparency in providing feedback, setting goals, and tracking progress. This aligns with Proverbs 10:9, which highlights the virtue of walking in integrity. These values guide my plan, ensuring that the mentor-mentee relationship fosters not only skill development but also moral growth rooted in Christian principles.
