This practice helps me center myself, reduce stress, and gain emotional clarity after a difficult or emotionally charged encounter with a patient. Mindfulness encourages a non-judgmental awareness of my thoughts and feelings, allowing me to process emotions healthily instead of suppressing or reacting impulsively.
