One of the most constructive pieces of feedback I received related to my character sketches, particularly in the context of conflict and agency. The instructor expressed concern that my protagonist’s role was overly passive, essentially serving as a prize within the narrative’s framework. This critique prompted me to reconsider how I portray my characters, especially my female characters, to ensure they possess more agency and depth.
