The Purpose Of The Signature Assignment Is For Students To Apply the R

The purpose of the signature assignment is for students to apply the research and evidence-based practice (EBP) concepts they have learned in this course and develop a framework for the initial steps of their capstone project. The assignment enables students to initiate the planning, researching, and development of an evidence-based practice intervention project proposal. This proposal should be submitted on or before Day 7 of week eight via the designated assignment link in D2L. The final paper should expand upon previous assignments and include essential components such as an introduction, overview of the problem, project purpose statement, background and significance, PICOt-formatted clinical question, literature review, critical appraisal of literature, development of an EBP standard, and implications for nursing practice. The paper must follow APA 6th edition format, be between 8 and 10 pages excluding references, and cite a minimum of five recent, peer-reviewed scholarly references.
