This quarter you will undertake a Communication Practicum Project that spans six weeks. The choice of movie is final after submission of the initial assignment. Each week builds upon the previous, culminating in a final project in week five. In the first level, you are to choose a movie, watch it thoroughly, and create a PowerPoint presentation that includes an introduction to the setting, plot, and main characters. Additionally, identify and apply three communication concepts from your course materials—such as Culture, Perception, Listening, Verbal Messages, Non-verbal Messages, Emotional and Conversational Messages, Interpersonal Relationships and Conflict, Power and Influence—to the movie. Proper APA citations for your resources must be included. The presentation should consist of a title slide, objectives slide, review slide, and a final slide, and should contain at least four cited resources.
