Nursing informatics is a rapidly evolving field that requires continuous development of various competencies. As I progress in my educational and professional journey, I anticipate my competencies in information literacy, computer literacy, and clinical information management will significantly deepen. Initially, I may face barriers such as limited exposure to advanced informatics tools or resistance to change in clinical practices. However, through ongoing learning and practical application, I expect these competencies to become more intuitive and integrated into my daily workflow. This evolution will enable me to effectively utilize technological tools, improve patient outcomes, and contribute meaningfully to healthcare transformations. Despite challenges, I recognize that continuous self-assessment and adaptation are vital for sustained growth in nursing informatics (HIMSS, 2020; McGonigle & Mastrian, 2018). As I advance, I aim to stay current with emerging technologies, develop critical thinking skills for data analysis, and enhance my ability to manage clinical information efficiently, ultimately supporting high-quality patient care and safety.
