Reflecting on my previous work experience in a corporate setting, I found these concepts to be highly relevant and insightful for improving organizational effectiveness.

One of the most prominent ideas from the videos is organizational culture, defined as the shared values, beliefs, and norms that shape employee behavior (Robbins & Judge, 2019). In my previous role at a marketing firm, the organizational culture emphasized creativity, collaboration, and innovation. This culture fostered a sense of belonging and motivated employees to contribute their best ideas. Recognizing the importance of culture helps organizations develop environments that promote employee engagement and productivity. As Schein (2010) argues, culture forms the foundation of organizational identity, influencing how employees respond to various challenges.

Another significant aspect is organizational structure, which delineates roles, responsibilities, and communication channels within the organization. The videos demonstrated different types of structures, such as hierarchical and flat organizations. At my workplace, we had a flat structure that encouraged open communication and quick decision-making.
