The decision to pursue a career in social work is often shaped by significant personal relationships and experiences that foster a commitment to social justice, advocacy, and community service. My journey was influenced by encounters with marginalized populations during volunteer work and witnessing the profound impact that compassionate support can have on individuals facing adversity. These experiences cultivated a strong desire to contribute to societal change and to support vulnerable groups through professional social work practice.

A major social problem that has captured my interest is homelessness and housing insecurity.
